Tips to tune RAM

The below top ten tips are recommended for any system. It doesn’t matter if you have 256mb RAM or 2 GB RAM. Check the below tips to remove the memory junk and speedup windows os.
c
1. Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.
2. Refresh the desktop after closing any application. This will remove any unused files from the RAM.
3. Do not set very large file size images as your wallpaper. Do not keep a wallpaper at all if your PC is low on RAM (less than 64 MB).
4. Do not clutter your Desktop with a lot of shortcuts. Each shortcut on the desktop uses up to 500 bytes of RAM.
5. Empty the recycle bin regularly. The files are not really deleted from your hard drive until you empty the recycle bin.
6. Delete the temporary internet files regularly.
7. Defragment your hard drive once every two months. This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster.
8. Always make two partitions in your hard drive. Install all large Softwares (like PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc) in the second partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as virtual memory when your Computer RAM is full. Keep the C Drive as empty as possible.
9. When installing new Softwares disable the option of having a tray icon. The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application automatically when the PC boots. You can disable these options later on also from the Tools or preferences menu in your application.
10. Protect your PC from dust. Dust causes the CPU cooling fan to jam and slow down thereby gradually heating your CPU and affecting the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow out any dust from the CPU. Never use vacuum.
RAM IS THE WORKING AREA (DESKTOP) OF THE CPU, KEEP IT AS EMPTY AND UNCLUTTERED AS POSSIBLE!

No one will GET second chance to impress….
Very very Impressive Questions and Answers….. …
Question 1:
You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night,
it’s raining heavily, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop, and you see
three people waiting for a bus:
An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
An old friend who once saved your life.
The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.
Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing very well that
there could only be one passenger in your car?
This is a moral/ethical dilem ma that was once ac tually used as part of a
job application.
* You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus
you should save her first;
* or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and
this would be the perfect chance to! pay him back.
* However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.
The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming
up with his answer. Guess what was his answer?
He simply answered:
“I would give the car keys to my Old friend and let him take the lady to
the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner
of my dreams.”
Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought
limitations. Never forget to “Think Outside of the Box.”
Question 2:
What will you do if I run away with your sister?”
The candidate who was selected answered ” I will not get a better match
for my sister than you sir”
Question 3:
Interviewer (to a student girl candidate) – What is one morning you woke
up & found that you were pregnant.
Girl – I will be very excited and take an off, to celebrate with my husband.
Normally an unmarried girl will be shocked to hear this, but she managed
it well. Why I should think it in the wrong way, she said later when asked
Question 4:
Interviewer: He ordered a cup of coffee for the candidate. Coffee arrived
kept before the candidate, then he asked what is before you?
Candidate: Instantly replied “Tea”
He got selected.

was kept before.
(Answer: The question was “What is before you (U – alphabet) Reply was
“TEA” ( T – alphabet)
Alphabet “T” was before Alphabet “U”
Question 5:
Where Lord Rama would have celebrated his “First Diwali”?
People will start thinking of Ayodya, Mitila [Janaki's place], Lanka
etc…
But the logic is, Diwali was a celebrated as a mark of Lord Krishna
Killing N arakasura. In Dusavata ar, Krishnavatha ar comes after
Raa mavatha ar.
So, Lord Rama would not have celebrated the Diwali At all!
Question 6:
The interviewer asked to the candidate “This is your last question of the
interview. Please tell me the exact position of the center of this table
where u have kept your files.”
Candidate confidently put one of his finger at some point at the table
and told that this was the central point at the table.
Interviewer asked how did u get to know that this being the central point
of this table, then he answers quickly that
“sir u r not likely to ask any more question, as it was the last question
that u promised to ask…..”
And hence, he was selected as because of his quick-wittedness. …….
This is What Interviewer expects from the Interviewee. …

20 common things in all engineering colleges

1) The lecturers don’t teach. The students don’t study. The only guy who
benefits is the one who owns the ‘dhaba’ next to the college.
2) Rules are made to be broken.
3) Promises are made to be broken.
4) Deadlines are made to be extended>>ALWAYS!
5) Guys always think the chics in the college next lane are more beautiful.
6) The geeks are the most pampered lot during the internal exams.
7) The lab assistants are the most respected people(during the lab exams i.e.).The watchmen are the people most bribed.
9) The HOD is the person most respected (heights of sycophancy here).
10) The principal is the person most abused and insulted(behind the back i.e.)
11) Dropping subjects is ‘cool’. (arre yaar… drop the idea of dropping subjects plz).
12) There is always a lecturer in the college who can’t speak proper ‘English’.
13) Night-out is the second most important tool to ace the exams.
14) The most important tool… the bhramastra… is the ‘chit’ in which the
words can be understood only by the person who wrote them(in most of the cases i.e.)
15) The freshers are the most sought after… be it in the canteen, the ‘free’
periods or for completing the records, assignments.
16) The second-years are the ones with the ‘I am the don-of-the-college’ feeling.
17) The third years are the ones with the ‘so-many-backlogs’ feeling and the poor
souls get down to studying after bossing around in the college for so
long. But the fun still continues.
18) The fourth years have no connection with the college whatsoever…with
no interest in ragging, pulling each others’ legs, the b’day parties, the b’day
bumps et al which they enjoyed so much till now. All they want is a good
placement and a ’1st-class’ tag attached to their memo.
19) The first three years are spent in cursing the college, the people there, the system et al.
20) But towards the end of the fourth year ,people tend to feel nostalgic
about the pure unadulterated fun they have had for 4 years. Now the very
system they disliked, the very canteen they cursed, the time that they spent
there, the b’day bumps they suffered… all these seem like heaven to them.

Difference Between LED TV and LCD TV

LED TVs are the new breed of televisions that have arrived in the market. LED TVs are somewhat similar to LCD TVs. However, the innovative backlighting feature has made LED TV an advanced version of LCD television models. The LCD panels of LED TVs are lighted by Light Emitting Diodes.
Contrast
Compared to the conventional LCD TV, LED TVs have better contrast ratio. One of the major drawbacks of LCD TV is that to create the dark areas of the images on the screen, the crystals have to twist to block the backlight. This causes loss of image detail by reducing the contrast ratio. LED TVs through the local dimming effect produces better black areas by dimming the backlight behind dark areas. This produces better contrast and more detailed image in the dark areas.
Color
There is not much difference in the quality of color in both the TVs. However, LED TVs, with a color or the RGB colored light technology, can manipulate the backlight to capture accurate colors of the image.

Viewing angles
In LCD TVs, the contrast ratio of the image diminished at wider viewing angles, beyond thirty degrees away from the center. However, LED TVs do not have this disadvantage. LED TVs are able to match the viewing angle of plasma TVs.
Sizes
Sizes of LCD TVs range from 15inches to 65 inches. LED TVs are currently available between 46inches and 70inches.
Video playback
LED TVs have faster response rate time. Therefore, motion lag problem have been resolved with LED technology. Similarly, in fast action video, blurring of images do not occur.
Power
LED TVs consume more power than LCD TVs. Therefore, the tradeoff seems to be between economizing your energy bill and better picture quality.
Sony, Samsung and Philips have launched LED TV models. Similar to LCD monitors, LED screens do not have screen burn-in problem, and are therefore, suitable for computer use.
